My Story

My love for taquitos started at Roberto’s Taco Shop in Green Valley in the late ’80s and through the mid ’90s. As a kid, I spent countless visits there with my dad, and every time, I ordered the same thing: taquitos. That’s where the obsession began.

Those early meals stuck with me. It wasn’t just about eating—it was about discovering how something simple could be so addictive, satisfying, and full of possibility.

From Favorite Food to Creative Obsession

As the years went on, that love never faded. Instead, it evolved into a desire to experiment and push boundaries. Taquitos became my creative outlet.

In 2019, I hosted an event where I served 205 taquitos, all different. Some were comfort-driven, others completely unexpected—Thanksgiving taquitos, Mediterranean lamb, jalapeño chicken, and more. The goal was simple: see how far the taquito could go.

That event defined my mission—take a familiar classic and constantly reinvent it.

The Heat Factor

Hot sauce and extreme spice have always been part of the journey, too. I’ve never been interested in heat without flavor. I want sauces that hit hard and keep you coming back.

That mindset led to my first sauce: Po-Blammo.

I’ve spent the last three years developing it—testing batches, dialing in flavor, and refusing to release anything until it was right. After countless revisions, it finally reached what I consider perfection.

What’s Next

Po-Blammo is just the beginning.

Hot sauce is my first release, but taquitos are the heart of this brand. Frozen taquitos are coming next, bringing my creations straight to your home.

This is about honoring where it started, pushing limits, and sharing bold food with people who crave more than average.

Welcome to Taquito Dude.
